This past fall I was in Las Vegas for a few days. In addition to scoping out the area for a possible future move, I wanted to take a few opportunities to experience the city’s atmosphere for crossdressers. I have already reported upon my positive outing to Satay Thai Bistro & Bar in Las Vegas, Nevada. This time I am reporting on a more significant outing, to the Divas Las Vegas show, hosted by Frank Marino.

Crossdresser Resources:
Refuge Restrooms
If you are going out en femme for any length of time, you are eventually going to need to use a restroom. I don’t know about you, but I don’t yet feel comfortable going into a women’s restroom because I may scare someone. Because I fear being assaulted, I also won’t go into a men’s restroom. That is where one of the best crossdresser resources, Refuge Restrooms, is of such great benefit.
Crossdresser Shopping Trip with a New Friend
Sami’s Week
I got to do something last week that I never thought I could do in this rural part of America! No, it wasn’t tipping over a cow, nor was it waiting to pass a slow-moving tractor. No, my friends, it was better than that! I was going on a crossdresser shopping trip with a nearby crossdressing friend.
Sami’s Pick:

To help you choose the clothing styles that are best for you, Sami’s pick is Flatter Your Figure, by Jan Larkey. This book has improved Sami’s wardrobe.
Crossdresser Resources:
Crossdressers.com
I believe that most new crossdressers have a lot of questions. I certainly did. I found Crossdressers.com is a valuable resource for answering some of these questions. Here are, for example, some typical questions many new crossdressers have:
- Why am I interested in crossdressing?
- How do I choose the proper clothes to wear?
- Where is a good site for learning how to apply makeup?
- I wonder whether there are others who can relate to a recent event I’ve had?
- How have other crossdressers dealt with coming out to others?
