What can possibly be better than applying makeup to your freshly shaved face before getting crossdressed? For me, it is getting my face soft and smooth. For a smooth face, try exfoliation.
Exfoliation is the process of removing the top layer of dead skin cells. This provides a great foundation for your foundation.
When I decided to try exfoliating my face, I did some research to discover a great exfoliating scrub. Allure magazine has its annual reader’s choice awards, which helped me find a wonderful scrub: St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub. This is Sami’s Pick for a smooth face.
Why St. Ives Apricot Scrub?
What I love about St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub is how my face feels after using it. A big bonus is the wonderfully fresh apricot scent.
In addition, the product makes use of apricot pits for doing the exfoliation. The pits have been ground to a very fine grit, perfect for scrubbing a few times a week. I usually do this twice a week. It is too harsh to do every day. St. Ives recommends no more than three times a week. A Monday – Wednesday – Friday regimen is a great schedule for spacing the treatments.
How Sami Uses St. Ives Scrub for a Smooth Face
One can use the product over a sink. I find it easier to do it while taking a shower. I prefer to scrub before shaving my face, which I also do in the shower. Doing this seems to help lift the stubble, making shaving easier and closer.
Once finished, my facial skin feels so smooth! The scrubbing process removes both the dead skin cells and a layer of oil, leaving the skin silky smooth. I think it helps with makeup because little bits of dead skin don’t come off while applying the makeup, making the result much smoother looking.
Sami’s Last Words
I love this product, and I think you will too. St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub is widely available at drug and discount stores, at a reasonable price. Why not give it a try to see how it smooths your face too?

I love this scrub! My mom and I have both used it for about 6 years. I use the sensitive skin version. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
