Crossdressing Resources

One of the frustrations I had as a new crossdresser is the ability to find crossdressing resources with great information. Don’t take me wrong because there are a few good crossdressing resources out there. Others were not so helpful.

One of my ideas for this blog is to create a central place where one can find great crossdressing resources in one place. Some of this will be from personal experience and research, such as this article on buying one’s first shoes. I plan for other experienced crossdressers to give helpful information as well.

Step-by-Step Crossdressing Guides

Crossdressing Resource Guide

Diva Las Vegas provides one of the more useful guides I have found. This is an organization that sponsors an annual week-long vacation for crossdressers. Although I have not attended the annual event, I have personally consulted this list each time I have traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Wouldn’t it be a helpful crossdressing resource to have such a list available for anywhere you travel? I live in rural Kansas, and there is no good information here. That is a problem I would like to try to solve, both here and elsewhere. It is an ambitious goal for this blog, but one that I hope to offer.

Shop ‘Til You Drop!

Because I am not yet fully comfortable going out en femme, one of my concerns is how employees of a store treat me. Is the staff going to ridicule or accept me? Does the store have anything of interest? Is the price of the merchandise justified by the quality? What if I am shopping for myself while dressed as a male?

I think many crossdressers ask these types of questions. Wouldn’t it be helpful to have a place where you can get answers to those questions about shopping?

Here’s an idea to get you started: Earrings for Crossdressers.

Crossdressing Resource Restrooms

I’ve Gotta Pee So Bad!

When I am travelling en femme, I need to know where it is safe to use public restrooms. We all know the dilemma. On the one hand, we don’t want other men to be assault us in the men’s room because we are presenting as female. On the other, we don’t want women to panic when we use the women’s restroom.

There already is an app that helps with this: Refuge Restrooms. I think it is a terrific resource when there is information available. My impression is that there aren’t enough people who are aware of that app, because the coverage is spotty. I’d like to create crossdressing resources on this site for suitable restroom options while also forwarding that information to Refuge Restrooms. Because sometimes we’ve gotta go when we gotta go!
